Work #1: Final Composition

My Technique Page for Media class is one of creative pieces. I have showed improvement from my past artistic pieces because my technique page shows some of the techniques I was able to master most. Over the course of my work I have learned to expand my shading and gradient, which you can see in this piece. With additional time, I would have actually liked to add another technique like typography.
Work #2: Die Trying
One thing I learned about writing with my Othello essay for Writing class was citing long quotations from a source in MLA guidelines. I already knew how to cite short quotes but now I know what to do with a quote longer than 4 lines. One of my strengths in this piece is that a lot of my thinking shows. I am a very analytical thinker, especially when it comes to analyzing a text.
Work #3: The Leader Who Rules with an Iron Fist
From writing my Leader essay in Humanities class I learned to use a new sophisticated way of writing. I was able to blend comparisons in one paragraph by using transitions rather than having two separate paragraphs for comparison. A skill I also practiced while writing my essay was expanding upon my points to prove my thesis and to show outside social studies knowledge to match the text we were writing on.
