This is an essay I wrote for the English College Now class I took the first semester of Junior year. It is a Summary Analysis paper about the poem "Trouble with Math in a One-Room Country School” by Jane Kenyon. This was the second College Now class I have taken and it really pushed me to develop my analytical skills and think at a deeper level. The professor treated us like college students and expected us to produce college level work.
Work #2: Galaxy Project
The Galaxy Project is something I worked on in my Pre-Calculus Class with a group. The project was learning about how things increase exponentially, particularly the growing population of people on Earth, and predicting how the increase affects our planet. My paper was part of Phase 1, which was my groups prediction on the Earth's carrying capacity and as well as what would happen to our Earth once this carrying capacity was reached.
Work #3: Art Of War
This is a brochure I made in physics class. In the brochure I show the different projectiles there are as well as the physics formulas that go along with each projectile type. There is also a war object like a sling shot or trebuchet given to match each projectile.
