In the last four years at Frank McCourt High School Sindi has grown to be a leader to her peers as well as a support for them. Throughout her time a FMHS Sindi has participated in a plethora of activities such as Student Leadership Council, Model UN and being a Senior Mentor. Sindi enjoys interacting with fellow students and offering her help when they need it. Sindi has also participated in College Now classes to challenge herself and prepare for college. During her time at FMHS she has worked hard to maintain High Honor Roll status for all four years and to build meaningful relationships with her peers. Sindi even had the opportunity to intern at NOVO Law Firm where she gained knowledge and new insights into the law profession. While at the law firm, Sindi got to experience what it would be like to work as a lawyer if she decides to officially become one in the future.Sindi is currently preparing to transition into the college setting. In the Fall, Sindi will be attending Fordham University! She is very excited to start this new chapter in her life. At Fordham Sindi is prepared to build new relationships with her peers and looks forward to refining her leadership skills in a new setting. This Summer she is also looking forward to returning as a Summer on the Hill mentor for the third year. Previously, Sindi was a student in the enrichment program herself. She loves giving back to the community that helped shape her into the hardworking, dedicated leader she is today.
Sindi is looking forward to growing and expanding her knowledge at Fordham. She is interested in pursuing other internship opportunities as she loves the real world experience she gained from it. She will miss her time at FMHS but is glad for the experience and everything she has accomplished there. While this chapter in her life has come to a close, she approaches a new one with arms wide open.
